As we previously reported, Megyn Kelly’s camp has been trying to land an interview with Russian president Vladimir Putin for some time now, and it looks like the time has come.

The NBC anchor is set to moderate the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on stage with Vladimir Putin, reports The Hollywood Reporter, and she will get an audience with him.

She is set to moderate the session, which will cover a range of global political and economic topics, like trade agreements, cyber-security, and the impact of rising military tensions.

The conference will take place June 1 to 3 in Russia.

NBC New chairman Andrew Lack apparently traveled to Russia to try and push Megyn to the forefront as moderator for the annual event, and it worked!

Last week, Megyn was spotted on the set of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, of all places. She is readying a sit-down with the Kardashian family for her morning program, which is set for a September premiere in the 9am slot.
