Megyn Kelly’s long awaited NBC debut is nearly here. According to a network insider, she will officially start in June!

“She will start in May, and her Sunday show will premiere in June,” an insider said to Page Six. It was expected that Megyn would be starting in July after her Fox contract expired, but she was released from it earlier than expected.

Megyn will be joining Kate Snow as part of NBC News’ Sunday night programming, executive produced by Dateline’s David Corvo, as well as another NBC producer Elizabeth Cole.

It was believed that Megyn’s first interview would be with Vladimir Putin after NBC News chairman Andy Lack flew to Russia this month to meet with him.

As for Megyn’s weekday morning program, NBC is still scrambling to find a staff and executive producer for it, which is set to debut in the fall.

“It’s a very real problem. There’s no staff in place. They have no idea what they’re going to do with Megyn. Ideas range from talk show to studio audience to news show. It’s a problem,” a source said.

However, another insider projected: “Megyn’s morning show is almost entirely staffed — and it doesn’t air for another five months. They just haven’t announced anybody.”
