OMG: Samantha Bee And Megyn Kelly Had Jury Duty On The Same Day
Nothing like seeing a friend at jury duty.
Apparently, Megyn Kelly, Samantha Bee, and David Schwimer were all summoned to jury duty on the same day. According to Page Six, “It was more like a casting call than jury duty.”
And when celebs are all in one place, they make it known. A Page Six insider said that Megyn was so excited to see Samantha that she “talked Samantha’s ear off. She looked trapped.” Still, another said, “They both got on with each other. They hit it off and even exchanged emails, but there wasn’t much time to talk there.”
Last year, Megyn publicly slammed Samantha after the comic called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c - - t” on her TBS show, Full Frontal. She later apologized by saying, “I’m a comedian. People who hone their voices in basement bars while yelling back at drunk hecklers are definitely not paragons of civility.”
Since being fired, Megyn has been somewhat floating. She tweeted about jury duty, writing: “Slightly concerned about the effectiveness of the ‘I’m far too busy’ excuse this time.”
