Megyn Kelly was summoned for jury duty, days after her exit deal from NBC was finalized. Still, the former anchor made light of the situation. 

“Slightly concerned about the effectiveness of the ‘I’m far too busy’ excuse this time,” she tweeted.

In case you need reminding, Megyn was ousted from Today in October after defending the use of  “blackface” on Halloween and is currently unemployed.

Regardless, NBC has agreed to pay her the remainder of her $69 million deal, said to be between $25 and $30 million, as she leaves from the network.

Since her departure, the show’s ratings during her former hour have spiked. Just saying!
