Jay Z Signs 10-Year Deal With Live Nation Worth $200 Million
Can’t we all be like Jay Z? The dude knows his worth, and apparently it’s $200 million!
The rapper and entrepreneur struck a deal with Live Nation, signing a 10-year touring partnernship deal worth $200 million, which includes worldwide touring produced by Live Nation until he’s around 57-years old — that’s going to be a show, eh?!
Obviously this means Jay Z is going to announce a tour sometime soon.
The deal itself is an extension of his existing deal with Live Nation. As he said in a statement, “Live Nation and I entered unchartered territory in 2008. Over nine years, we have traveled the world producing historic music experiences.”
Jay Z is also dabbing in the movie business, producing the film version of Broadway’s In the Heights as well as numerous emotionally charged documentaries with Harvey Weinstein, including one about Trayvon Martin.
