You guys remember Katherine Jackson’s attempted restraining order against her nephew after claims that he abuses and controls her? Well apparently her attorneys asked the judge to dismiss the case without prejudice because they were unprepared for court.

TMZ reports also reports that Katherine’s council said she was unaware it would be brought to trial. Back in February, the matriarch was granted a temporary restraining order against Trent Jackson claiming elder abuse and that he accessed her bank accounts and made purchases without her approval.

“Trent has manipulated Mrs. Jackson so much, and preyed on her known kindness, that whenever the police arrive or efforts to press elder abuse charges have been undertaken, she ultimately recants or changes her mind,” the complaint read.
