Oh Snap! Britney Spears Responds to Katy Perry’s Grammy Shade
When Katy Perry dissed Britney Spears on the Grammy red carpet, half-heartedly making fun of people with mental issues referring to Britney’s epic 2000s meltdown, fans went balistic.
“It’s like the last color in the spectrum (blonde). I’ve done all of ‘em,” Katy told Nancy O’Dell on the red carpet. “The only thing left to do is shave my head which I’m really saving for a public breakdown. I’m down for that.” She later told Ryan Seacrest, “Well, that’s called taking care of my mental health… I haven’t shaved my head yet!”
But on Instagram, Britney took the high road, posting a photo of her making a heart shape, writing “Her mouth speaks from that which fills her heart. Luke 6:45.”
Reportedly, a source said that Britney was really taken aback by Katy’s comments, telling Hollywood Life, “She doesn’t understand why Katy would take a jab at her. There’s never been any bad blood between them. She thinks it was a low blow and not cool at all.”
