We brought you the story earlier today about Katy Perry’s controversial remarks alluding to Britney Spears’ mental illness. But while Katy was dissing Britney on the red carpet, the pop star was no where to be found.

The night before the Grammy’s, Britney attended Clive Davis’ Annual Pre-Grammys Party, but was not present for the award ceremony.

We’re not sure why, but maybe she left us a clue. Yesterday, she took to Twitter to share a pic:
