Ouch! Check Out Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ ‘Veep’ Stunt Injury!

When it comes to getting laughs, Julia Louis-Dreyfus is prepared to do whatever it takes, even at her body’s expense.

In last night’s episode of Veep, the star did an epic stunt, and is still paying for it! The episode began with Julia’s character, ex-president Selina Meyer, sitting in the oval office replica inside the Stuart Hughes President Library and Museum. As she and Tony Hale’s character, Gary, become aware of someone approaching, they attempt a quick getaway, which involves Julia flipping over a railing. Hilarity and major bruising ensued! The actress took to Twitter to share her battle wound. Take a look:

Apparently, she has no regrets, though, as she captioned the pic with, “This is the result of tonite’s episode’s #flipturn. Totally worth it.”
