‘Fast and Furious 11’ Will Be the Final Film in the Franchise

All good things must come to an end…

It’s been announced that The Fast & Furious franchise will end following its 11th movie. Sources told Deadline that Universal Pictures plans to pull the plug after just two more films, both of which will be directed by Justin Lin.

Still, there is a chance that spin-offs like last year’s Hobbs & Shaw will carry on.

Justin has already directed F9, which is in post-production now, and is reportedly in talks with Universal to direct two more installments to close out the saga.

Fast & Furious has reportedly become the highest-grossing movie series Universal has ever made, so it’s bittersweet indeed!

According to reports, the final two films will tell one over-arching story, centered around Vin Diesel’s character Dom Torretto, and would bring back the core cast including Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Sung Kang.

We’re sad to see it go, but we know the films will last forever!
