Jussie Smollett is Making His Directorial Debut

Former Empire actor Jussie Smollett will make his directorial debut with B-Boy Blues, an adaptation of James Earl Hardy’s best-selling 1994 book.

Of course, Jussie is in the midst of a big controversy following being charged with staging a hate-crime attack against himself in January 2019.

The film chronicles the troubled relationship between two Black men who meet at a Greenwich Village bar in 1993.

B-Boy Blues will go into production in New York City on October 17.

Well, Jussie is certainly not letting anything stop him from putting projects out there. We’ll see how it turns out.
