Ivana Trump Calls Donald ‘Careless’ Amid COVID Hospitalization

Donald Trump’s ex-wife Ivana Trump is speaking out about his poor response to the pandemic, days after it was discovered that he himself contracted COVID-19.

“It’s a very difficult time,” Ivana told People. “It’s a stress.”

“I spoke to all my kids and they, of course, are worried,” she added, referring to Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump — the three kids she shares with Trump.

It was announced on Friday that Trump and Melania had tested positive for COVID-19. They’re currently being looked after by health professionals.

White House physician Dr. Sean Conley told reporters that Trump has experienced “mild symptoms” and is scheduled to remain under observation for several days.

To date, over 208,500 people have died in the U.S. due to complications from the virus.

“He was careless. He didn’t think it would happen to him,” Ivana said, adding that his diagnosis came as “a little bit of a shock” because he’s “the cleanest, healthiest person.”

“Not healthiest with food, but very healthy otherwise—always washes his hands and always is careful,” she said. “His only weakness is food. He likes the Big Mac — it’s his biggest weakness.”

We wish the first family well.
