We’re happy to report that Nicki Minaj has given birth to her first child!

According to People, the singer and husband Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, welcomed their baby this week in Los Angeles.

The rapper first announced her pregnancy on Instagram in July, alongside a set of glam snapshots.

She and Zoo tied the knot last year, and they both chose to hold off on their careers to focus on building a family.

“I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me … Love you for LIFE,” she wrote on Twitter at the time.
