Shia LaBeouf was reportedly charged with two misdemeanors from an altercation that happened this summer.

A few months ago, the actor got into a fight that resulted in him stealing a man’s hat, TMZ reported. Now, the LA City Attorney charged him with petty theft and battery after police investigated and determined he was the aggressor in the altercation.

The star was last arrested in 2017 for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and obstruction of justice while filming Peanut Butter Falcon.

At the time, he publicly apologized for the ordeal and addressed his struggles with addiction. (see below.)

He later thanked the police officer who arrested him for changing his life while accepting his breakthrough screenwriter award for Honey Boy last year.
