Kelly Clarkson’s management company is suing her for allegedly stiffing them out of more than $1 million in commissions.

The dramatic twist? The company is owned by her ex husband’s dad.

Starstruck Management Group filed a lawsuit against the singer this week, which was confirmed through Los Angeles County Superior Court records.

The company claims it is owed $1.4 million in unpaid commissions for her work on The Voice and The Kelly Clarkson Show, according to Variety.

The company is run by Narvel Blackstock, the father of her ex, Brandon, from whom she separated in June.

Kelly has been with the company for over a decade and paid them 15 percent on her gross earnings, according to Variety. While she paid them $1.9 million so far this year, the company says she still has an unpaid balance.

In fact, they say she owes the company at least $5.4 million by the end of 2020.

Eek! Well, we’ll see how this turns out. We hope it doesn’t get too ugly.
