‘West Side Story,’ ‘Black Widow,’ And More Movies Delayed to Next Year

We’re so sad to report that Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, which originally planned to open on December 18, will now be opening on December 10, 2021.

But that’s not the only film that’s getting pushed.

Disney revealed that Black Widow‘s premiere is now being pushed to May 7, 2021 — a whole year after its original May 1 release date.

Plus, Marvel’s Eternals, originally set for November 6, will now be opening November 5, 2021.

Other movies being pushed are the Agatha Christie adaptation Death on the Nile going from an October 23 release to December 18, and The Empty Man, which now opens on October 23.

While we’re sad to see this happen, we also know it’s better safe than sorry.
