Luke Bryan is giddy with excitement about meeting Katy Perry’s new little one, Daisy Dove.

Speaking to PeopleTV at the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards preshow, the singer said he’s looking forward to meeting Daisy in person soon.

“I have not actually met her personally, but I’ve seen some pictures and [she’s] just precious; a precious, precious, beautiful kid, and I can’t wait to see her in person,” he said.

Of course, Daisy Dove was born on August 27.

“My same advice for getting through these times: drink,” he quipped. “When in doubt, drink.”
