Jerry Harris from Netflix’s Cheer is being investigated by the FBI.

According to USA Today, Jerry allegedly asked for sexually explicit photos and for sex from minors. Furthermore, FBI agents apparently executed a search warrant for his home as part of the investigation.

“The FBI is conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity in the area,” FBI agent Siobhan Johnson told the outlet.

The whole investigation began after claims were reported to the police by Varsity, a cheerleading company. Varsity’s chief legal officer, Burton Brillhart, told police officers in Florida and Texas that they had became aware of “inappropriate sexual conduct” allegations against Jerry.

“As a result of the recent allegation, we have barred this person from having any affiliation with Varsity Brands or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates, now and in the future,” Siobhan wrote in a letter to police.

Jerry has not been officially charged with any crimes as of yet, but we’ll definitely be following this story.
