We’re sad to report that the love is over for Gerard Butler and Morgan Brown.

The couple has broken up after almost seven years of dating, People reported this morning.

The actor and real estate developer/designer had first split up in 2016 but ultimately got back together. Then in 2018, they were spotted looking at Manhattan real estate together, which made everyone realize they were taking a next step.

However, clearly the next step was too far. But hey… we can only hope for the best!
