A slew of fans gathered in Los Angeles this week at the “Free Britney” demonstration to protest on behalf Britney Spears being freed from her conservatorship.

Among them was Britney’s ex-husband and childhood friend Jason Alexander — whom she married and split from three days later in January 2004.

According to a fan Twitter account, Jason was outside the Los Angeles courthouse where the details of the singer’s conservatorship are being litigated.

As we previously reported, Britney has been under a forced conservatorship since 2008 and fans have increasingly accused her team of malpractice.

How about that? Well, this certainly says something wonderful about Jason. Gotta love him.
