From now on, Sia is staying silent about the private lives of her kids.

Over the weekend, the singer revealed on The Kyle & Jackie O Show that she regrets opening up about her adopted children because her “job is to protect them and not blab about what’s going on in their lives.”

“I made a bit of a boo-boo because they’re my new children,” she said. “I’ve only had them for a year. I’m such an open book that I forget not everybody is.”

Earlier this year, she revealed that she adopted two teenage boys in 2019 because they were “aging out of the foster care system.” She later shared that her youngest had just welcomed two babies.

“They call me Nana,” she said at the time. “I’m trying to get them to call me Lovey, like Kris [Jenner]. I’m like, ‘Call me Lovey.’”

The singer added on The Kyle and Jackie O Show that she didn’t get in trouble with her son for speaking publicly about his kids, but rather she came to the conclusion herself.

“He didn’t tell me off or anything,” she said. “I was peeing, which is where I have my best thoughts, and I realized that it was not my news to share with the world.”

Sia added, “I instantly realized I can’t talk about my children’s private life. That’s not my news to share and I’m just learning because I’m just learning to be a mom.”
