Portia de Rossi Says Ellen Plans to Continue Hosting Her Daytime Show

Portia de Rossi is updating the world about how her wife Ellen DeGeneres is doing amid recent claims of a toxic workplace.

“[She’s] doing great,” Portia told a photographer in a video obtained by Page Six.

When asked whether the host plans to continue hosting The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she responded, “Yes, she is.”

Of course, Ellen faced major backlash in July after BuzzFeed News published reports detailing allegations of racism, fear, intimidation and sexual misconduct behind-the-scenes of her show.

Warner launched an internal investigation and shared its plans to interview current and former employees about the claims.

Ellen herself addressed the reports in a letter.

“On day one of our show, I told everyone in our first meeting that The Ellen DeGeneres Show would be a place of happiness — no one would ever raise their voice, and everyone would be treated with respect,” she wrote in part. “Obviously, something changed, and I am disappointed to learn that this has not been the case. And for that, I am sorry. Anyone who knows me knows it’s the opposite of what I believe and what I hoped for our show.”

We hope all of this comes to an end soon.
