Keke Palmer will be hosting the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn!

The network recently made the announcement. The event will take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on August 30.

“We’re thrilled to have the multitalented Keke Palmer as this year’s ‘VMAs’ host,” said Bruce Gillmer, president of music, music talent, programming and events for ViacomCBS Media Networks. “Keke is an energetic force and a quadruple threat with unmatched comedic wit who will make this year’s show truly unforgettable.”

The 37th annual VMAs is the first major awards show to be held completely at a venue since the pandemic began.

BTS, J Balvin, Doja Cat, and the K-pop group BTS will all make their debut VMAs performance, which is also exciting!
