Joy Reid’s Family & Friends Threw a Zoom Celebration in Honor of Her Show’s Debut

Joy Reid has amazing people in her life!

According to reports, her friends and family threw a surprise Zoom party on Sunday to celebrate her MSNBC show, The ReidOut.

“It was a very emotional virtual party… It was a celebration of her making history as the first African American woman to host a primetime cable show. She was on with her husband Jason, and she cried,” a guest of the party told Page Six.

Also in attendance were Al Sharpton, Angela Rye, April Ryan, Tamron Hall, Yvette Nicole Brown, Erika Alexander, Jacque Reid, Chris Witherspoon, and Jonathan Capehart.

Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden were Joy’s guests on Monday, the very first show.

We’re so excited for what Joy has in store for the future. Congrats!
