Prince William and Prince Harry are taking steps in dividing their official business.

The proceeds of the fund set up in the memory of their late mother Princess Diana will now be split between the brothers’ charitable efforts, according to reports.

The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund was set up in the wake of her 1997 death, and has been paid into the Royal Foundation. The Royal Foundation was a charitable vehicle for William, Kate Middleton, Harry and Meghan Markle.

But now the couples have gone their separate ways with Meghan and Harry having Archewell, and the Royal Foundation remaining with William and Kate.

According to People magazine, the Diana fund has not been actively fundraising for years but receives money from legacies and other donations.

Harry and Meghan are now making plans for their new organization, Archewell. Harry has since asked his share from the year to go towards his other HIV/AIDS charity Sentebale, which was set up alongside his friend Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, Africa, and was inspired by his mother’s work in combating AIDS.

Simply put, these men are doing such grand work in the world. Their mother’s charity, though split between the two, will continue to fuel their charitable endeavors.

We’re so happy they’re continuing Diana’s legacy.
