Denise Richards Nominates Erika Girardi to be the Next Bond Girl
Well, if Denise Richards thinks Erika Girardi should be the next Bond girl, so do we!
Denise recently opened up about wanting her gal pal to be on top of the list for the iconic role during an appearance on PeopleTV’s Couch Surfing.
“It’s funny. I tell her this on my show. I actually think Erika Jayne would be an amazing Bond girl,” she said. “She’s tough, she’s sassy, she would be glamorous.”
Plus, “She could sing her own theme song,” Denise added.
The latest James Bond film, No Time to Die will premiere in November 2020. The project will be Daniel Craig’s last time as the beloved character, but hey, perhaps Erika will make the next one!
Of course, Denise played Bond girl Dr. Christmas Jones in the 1999 film The World Is Not Enough.
“I auditioned and then I went to London to screen test. I think I screen-tested on Thanksgiving. My dad came with me because I was so sad to miss Thanksgiving with my family when I was cast,” she recalled.
“It was on the news and I was like ‘Why is [it] such a big deal?'” she continued. “My friend was like ‘Do you realize you’re in James Bond?’ I’m like ‘Yeah, I’m so excited, it’s a great movie’ and he was like, ‘No.'”
