Kristen Stewart is Playing Princess Diana in Biopic
People are going crazy over the news that Kristen Stewart will be playing the beloved Princess Diana in the biopic Spencer from Pablo Larraín, who directed Jackie.
The story will examine a short time in Diana’s life over the Christmas holidays when she considers leaving her marriage to Prince Charles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
This marks the third time Kristen has starred in a biopic, following her roles as Savannah Knoop in JT Leroy and Jean Seberg in Seberg.
The script for Spencer is penned by Steven Knight, who wrote the screenplays for David Cronenberg’s Eastern Promises and Stephen Frears’s Dirty Pretty Things.
