James Gandolfini Once Threatened to ‘Beat the F***’ Out of Harvey Weinstein

We miss James Gandolfini so much!
Word on the street is that the late Sopranos star once got so upset with Harvey Weinstein’s bully tactics that he threatened to “beat the f–k” out of him.
Fellow Sopranos actor Steve Schirripa recently revealed the story on his Talking Sopranos podcast, which he co-hosts alongside fellow Sopranos alum Michael Imperioli.
Steve explained that James spent his career ducking the talk-show circuit promotional cycle for his projects. In fact, the only interview he ever sat down for was with 60 Minutes.
For 2012’s Killing Them Softly, which was distributed by The Weinstein Co., James didn’t want to promote it on talk shows, which pissed Harvey off.
“He said, ‘Harvey Weinstein keeps calling, he wants me to do Letterman and I said no.’ And he got f–king nasty with Jim [James],” Steve said. “And Jim said, ‘I will beat the f–k out of Harvey Weinstein! He f–king calls me again, I will beat the f–k out of him! For the money he paid me, I’m not f–king doing it!’ Swear to God. And this is before all the Harvey Weinstein s–t when he was still king shit.”
Ooo! Well, apparently Harvey caved (for good reason, we think).
James died in 2013, and he’ll be forever missed.
