‘Cops’ TV series Canceled After 31 Years

Cops has been canceled following nationwide protests against police brutality and racism.

As a result of the political climate, Paramount Network has decided to pull the long-running true-crime reality TV series.

Cops is not on the Paramount Network and we don’t have any current or future plans for it to return,” a network spokesperson said, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Cops was headed into its 33rd season and has aired more than 1,100 episodes.

It was originally on Fox, but in 2013 Fox canceled the show and cable network Spike TV picked it back up. Then in 2018, Spike TV was rebranded as Paramount Network.

Well, it was a good run… but maybe it’s for the best?
