Coachella 2020 in October Has Officially Been Canceled

We’re sad to report that Coachella has been officially canceled this year due to massive layoffs from its parent company AEG.

The festival was originally scheduled for April 2020 before it had to reschedule to October. But now, the October date has been officially canned.

“When we are able to reopen, it will take time until we see our fans, partners and sponsors fully return,” AEG CEO Dan Beckerman said in a memo, according to Page Six.

It is said that Coachella 2021 may return in a smaller form in April 2021, or it will return to its full capacity in October 2021.

Of course, the annual music festival was set to be headlined by Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott, and Frank Ocean over two weekends in April, but COVID quickly changed its plans.

The lineup for 2021 hasn’t been announced.

Hopefully, the world can get back to normal soon!
