Lea Michele is Sorry For Making Samantha Ware’s Life a ‘Living Hell’

Lea Michele apologized after being accused of making the life of her former Glee co-star Samantha Ware a “living hell.”

As we previously reported, Samantha made the tweet after Lea wrote what was meant to be a sentimental post about the George Floyd protestors.

“LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?!” Samantha wrote. “CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD ‘S–T IN MY WIG!’ AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD…”

Now, Lea has given her response.

“One of the most important lessons of the last few weeks is that we need to take the time to listen and learn about other people’s perspectives and any role we have played or anything we can do to help address the injustices that they face,” Lea said.

“When I tweeted the other day, it was meant to be a show of support for our friends and neighbors and communities of color during this really difficult time, but the responses I received to what I posted have made me also focus specifically on how my own behavior towards fellow cast members was perceived by them.”

Stars like Amber Riley and Alex Newell gave support for Samantha on social media as well, which seemed to fuel the need for Lea to respond.

Lea, who is pregnant with her first child, added that she has “listened to these criticisms” and is “learning.”

We hope for the best!
