Chrissy Teigen is defending Alison Roman’s New York Times food column after it was placed on a hiatus over recent drama between her and Alison.

In case you forgot, in an interview with The New Consumer earlier this month, Alison got in a sticky situation for criticizing Chrissy’s cooking website, calling it a “content farm” and further claiming that lifestyle expert Marie Kondo had “sold out.”

Ouch! Well, Chrissy and Alison had beef for a few days before the drama died down.

But now, Alison’s biweekly food column is “on temporary leave,” a New York Times spokesperson told The Daily Beast, though it did not give reasons as to why.

Chrissy later responded to several comments on social media about Alison’s temporary hiatus.

Other people, like The New York Times‘s own Bari Weiss, also chimed in.

Wow. This really does suck all around. 🙁
