Andrew Cuomo Wants Robert De Niro to Play Him in a Movie About COVID

Talk about perfect casting!

Governor Andrew Cuomo recently spoke about Robert De Niro humoring the idea that he’d be willing to play him if a movie is ever made about the pandemic.

“I am a big De Niro fan,” the governor said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “He is just phenomenal. The breadth of his ability — just look at all the roles he’s played. He can do anything.”

The governor also joked that at his next press conference he would like to take inspiration from Robert’s role in Taxi Driver.

“When a reporter asks me a question … ‘You talkin’ to me? You, talkin’ to me?!’” he said with a laugh. “Oh boy, that’d be a treat. I’m a big De Niro fan. He’s a genius.”

LOL! We can see it, right?
