Laura Dern recently shared that she tried tequila for the first time ever!

Apparently she’s spent years being “scared” of it, but thankfully she’s seen the other side — and she loves it.

Laura was video-chatting with Reese Witherspoon on Monday while in quarantine, and over the course of their conversation, the Big Little Lies costars talked about their bond, motherhood and more.

At one point, Reese asked her to name her “favorite quarantine cocktail.”

“I, like Renata, pretty much drink wine,” she said, referencing her Big Little Lies character. “That’s it, my whole life. I’ve never had cocktails, guys.”

“I have to admit, for the first time in my life, truth, I have had tequila,” she added. “It is as wonderful as everyone says.”
