During a video chat between Seinfeld stars Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus on Tuesday, the two recalled all the fuss around the filming of the sitcom’s 1998 finale.

In fact, Julia remembered that barricades had been placed around the set to keep paparazzi from getting photographs: “I remember thinking at that time, ‘Seriously? Who gives a s–t?’” she said.

Then, Jason opened up about the fact that he was actually offered a bribe to reveal secrets about the show’s final episode.

“My own publicist — I don’t know if this came for you, too — my publicist was asking me if I was willing to leak out some secrets for money. And I went, ‘They’ll kill us!’” he said.

When Julia said she hoped the publicist was fired, Jason quipped, “No, I gave him a raise.”
