Christian Siriano Ships 1,500 Masks to Health Care Workers in NYC
Fashion designer Christian Siriano recently announced that his staff would make surgical masks to help doctors and nurses fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last Friday, he shipped 1,500 off to healthcare workers in New York.
In a video posted on social media, Christian can be seen carrying a box of masks down a stairwell with the caption: “Wow, we are so proud and I can’t thank my team enough for all the hard work. We hope this helps so many people because they are helping all of us!”
According to Page Six, he and his team expect to manufacture up to 500 masks per day by this week. Supporters can donate on his website.
