Kenny Rogers is Dead at 81

Country music legend Kenny Rogers has died.

The singer was behind such hits as “The Gambler,” “Lady” and “Islands in the Stream,” which he sang alongside Dolly Parton.

According to Variety, he “passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family.”

Reportedly, the star had been hospitalized for dehydration last Spring. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family.

Dolly, who was not only his singing partner but his good friend, posted a touching tribute for him on social media.
