One of Britain’s First ‘Gay Dads’ Is Now Expecting Triplets With His Daughter’s Ex-Boyfriend

Talk about keeping it in the family!

According to Attitude magazine, one of Britain’s ‘first gay dads’ is expecting triplets with his partner, who happens to also be his daughter’s ex.

Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, separated from his husband of 32 years, Tony Drewitt-Barlow, last year. They both shot to fame in 1999 when they welcomed twins Saffron and Aspen via a surrogate, later winning the legal right to be named as parents on a birth certificate, in a landmark ruling for LGBTQ parenting, Attitude reports.

This weekend, Barrie announced that he and his new partner Scott Hutchison, 25, are welcoming triplets (all girls) via surrogate later this year.

“I am overjoyed to share the news that Scott and I are pregnant with triplet girls. We are using a surrogate and she’s fallen pregnant at the first attempt,” Scott also told The Sun. “Our family has too many boys and too much testosterone! So we used sex selection to even things out. We know we are having girls.”

Well, happiness is happiness! Good for them.
