Prince William Doesn’t Seem Worried About Coronavirus During Ireland Tour

Might not be the best time for this kind of joke…?

Prince William and Kate Middleton have been shaking lots of hands during their three-day tour of Ireland, but clearly they don’t seem to be concerned about coronavirus.

“I bet everyone’s like, ‘I’ve got Coronavirus, I’m dying’, and you’re like, ‘No, you’ve just got a cough,’” the royal said while speaking to a National Ambulance Service paramedic during a reception held at the Gravity bar in Dublin, before adding, “Does it seem quite dramatic about coronavirus at the moment? Is it being a little bit hyped up do you think in the media?”

He later joked: “By the way, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are spreading coronavirus! Sorry! We’re keeping an eye on that, so do tell us if we need to stop!”

According to the BBC, coronavirus cases in the U.K. have recently risen to 85. Thankfully, there have been no deaths in the U.K. as of today.

Well… they might not be scared, but the world seems to be!
