Woody Allen’s Memoir is Being Released Next Month

There has been much talk about director Woody Allen’s controversial memoir, which will be released next month.

Grand Central Publishing — a division of Hachette Book Group — made the announcement yesterday. The book is called Apropos of Nothing, and will hit bookstores April 7.

“The book is a comprehensive account of his life, both personal and professional, and describes his work in films, theater, television, nightclubs and print,” a statement from Grand Central read, which noted that “Allen also writes of his relationships with family, friends, and the loves of his life.”

The director is scheduled to do a short promotional tour.

Of course, Woody’s life has been noteworthy since 1992 when it was revealed that he was having an affair with then-girlfriend Mia Farrow’s adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn. The pair eventually married in 1997.

Later that year, he was accused of sexually assaulting his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow, a charge he strongly denies to this day.

Not sure if it will be a worthy read, but it’s certainly going to be one heck of a promotional tour.
