Vanessa Bryant Has Filed A Wrongful Death Suit Against Chopper Company That Killed Kobe & Gianna

TMZ has reported that Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa, is suing the company that owned the helicopter that killed her husband and 13-year-old, Gianna.

Reportedly, Vanessa’s lawyers say the aircraft should never have been placed in the peril it was in before the January 26 accident.

TMZ writes: “The lawsuit alleges Island Express was only allowed to fly under visual flight rules, and the conditions the day of the crash were not conducive for such flying.”

That day Kobe died, the fog was extremely low and the pilot was in blinding conditions before the mishap. Furthermore, the pilot was allegedly going 180 miles per hour in a steep decline moments before it crashed.

A representative for Island Express told TMZ: “This was a tragic accident. We will have no comment on the pending lawsuit.”

What a tragedy all around. We hope justice comes to fruition in whatever form it takes.
