Kate Middleton is a great mom, and she knows how to act for her little fans.

The royal mother of three recently joined a creative workshop run by the National Portrait Gallery’s Hospital Programme at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital to see how the arts support children’s health, well-being and happiness.

While there, she ended up becoming the subject for a 10-year-old photographer.

After being presented with colorful “rag wreaths,” little Luke Wheeler-Waddison (who is a heart patient) snapped Kate’s portrait — and she posed with her gift and flashed a big smile for the camera like a pro.

Naturally, Luke proudly held up the polaroid, which was also admired by his 4-year-old sister Savannah.
