Ex ‘Bachelorette’ Contestant Tyler Gwozdz Dead at 29 After Suspected Overdose

We’re incredibly sad to report that ex-Bachelorette contestant Tyler Gwozdz has died following a suspected overdose. He was 29.

Tyler’s body is with the Palm Beach Medical Examiner’s Office, a spokesperson told People magazine, and an autopsy will take a minimum of eight to 12 weeks to complete.

A spokesperson for the Boca Raton Police Services Department confirmed that they “responded to a medical overdose” involving Tyler on January 13, adding that “the case is an active ongoing investigation.”

According to People, there is a 911 call where a woman is heard frantically attempting to locate Narcan, a nasal spray that can help reverse an opioid overdose.

Paramedics transported him to a hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit for a week — but as of Tuesday, he was no longer a current patient in their system, TMZ (which was the first to report the story) confirms.

Our hearts go out to his family.
