Ozzy Osbourne Says Last Year Was The Most ‘Painful’ One of His Life

Ozzy Osbourne has had one hell of a life, but last year seemed to be the pinnacle.

In an interview with Good Morning America, the rocker opened up about 2019, a year he said was the “most painful” for him after he suffered a fall in his dark bathroom.

“[It] was the worst, longest, most painful, miserable year of my life,” he explained. “When I had the fall it was pitch black, I went to the bathroom and I fell. I just fell and landed like a slam on the floor and I remember lying there thinking, ‘Well, you’ve done it now,’ really calm. Sharon [called] an ambulance. After that it was all downhill.”

As a result of the fall, numerous metal rods in his body he received from a previous bike accident were knocked out of place. And he had to receive 15 screws in his spine following the accident.

Furthermore, last year he needed to have surgery for an infection in his hand and was later hospitalized from flu complications. He ultimately had to delay the launch of his tour due to the adding health issues.

We’re so sad that last year was tough for the Prince of Darkness, but we’re also happy that he’s feeling better.

Much love to him!
