Ricky Gervais Doesn’t Regret Any Joke He Said at the Golden Globes, Except For One…

Ricky Gervais is hosting the Golden Globes this Sunday night, and folks are expecting him to be quite, well, controversial. It’s kinda his thing.

Recently, the comic told The Hollywood Reporter that he doesn’t regret any of the jokes he’s said previously at the Globes — except one he made about Tim Allen.

In 2011, Tim presented an award with Tom Hanks, and Ricky introduced them by saying: “The first [presenter] is an actor, producer, writer and director whose movies have grossed over $3.5 billion at the box office. The other is Tim Allen.”

“I didn’t want Tim Allen to think, ‘Oh, that was written for me,’ ” he told THR. “ ‘Why me?’ Well, because you were standing next to Tom Hanks.”

Hm… well, at least he has a comedy conscience?

Let’s see how he does on Sunday night! We’re sure he won’t disappoint.
