Ja Rule Speaks About His New Fyre Festival-Inspired Track, ‘FYRE’

Ja Rule might be turning the lemons he gained over the Fyre Festival scandal into GOLD.

While Fyre Fest founder Billy McFarland is serving time behind bars, co-conceiver Ja Rule is dropping a new track called “FYRE.”

“The record was made to be FUN,” the rapper told Page Six. “I’m an artist and artists write through their pain. It’s therapeutic, it’s what keeps us sane.”

Indeed, he tries to make it fun in the song with lyrics like: “The fest, the festival is on fire/ We don’t need no water, make that motherf—ker hotter… Hotter than the sun, but it wasn’t that/ Show of hands if you got your money back?/ Just playing, I got sued for that/ 100 mil to be exact.”

Damn! Not gonna lie… the song is pretty lit, but is it enough to make people forget what Ja Rule did?
