LOL! Guess the Drag Name Elton John Gave Taron Egerton
Elton John knows how to write! He also knows how to give a hell of a drag name, mainly to the actor who portrayed him in the film Rocketman, Taron Egerton.
While appearing on Jess Cagle’s SiriusXM show, Taron shared that while he and girlfriend Emily Thomas were spending time with Elton and his family, the legend decided to evoke an official drag name for the actor.
“I have a camper van — like a VW [RV] — that I spend a lot of time in,” Taron began the story. “He finds that very funny, for some reason. So my name is ‘Blodwyn’ — which is a Welsh name — ‘Blodwyn Campervan.’”
He added, “Actually, that night, after he’d gone to bed, I stole his Polaroid camera and wore some of my girlfriend’s clothes and did a little photoshoot and left it there in the kitchen for them for after we’d left of me dressed as my vision of Blodwyn Campervan.”
LOL! The Elton apple certainly doesn’t fall far from the tree.
