Scooter Braun Is Receiving Death Threats Following Taylor Swift Drama

Scooter Braun is pleading with Taylor Swift to backtrack on their public feud, saying that her fans are threatening the lives of his wife and children.

Taylor has called him out in the last couple weeks, telling fans that his company, which owns her music, wasn’t allowing her to play her songs at the upcoming AMAs.

This week, however, Scooter says this is all a result of “miscommunication.” He also said he wouldn’t engage in a social media war with the singer.

But after these death threats, Scooter turned to Instagram to plead with Taylor and to find a solution to their music war.

“Since your public statement last week there have been numerous death threats directed at my family,” he began the lengthy letter. “This morning I spoke out publicly for the first time saying I wouldn’t participate in a social media war. However I came home tonight to find my wife had received a phone call threatening the safety of our children as well as other threats seen above.”

“…Thinking of my wife and children, my team and their families, I have gone through a range of emotions on how to deal with this,” Scooter continued. “I write this now only after a deep breathe [sic] and much reflection. I am certain there is no situation ever worth jeopardizing anyone’s safety.”
