OMG! Is a ‘Friends’ Reunion Special Happening Now?

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that a Friends reunion could be happening sooner than we think!

The outlet states that a deal has not been made yet, but the full main cast — Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer — as well as creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane, are willing to reunite for an unscripted special that would be available to watch on forthcoming streaming service HBO Max.

Of course, agreements with cast and creatives still need to be finalized, but hey! This sounds like it’s going to happen.

The streaming service is going to house all 236 episodes of Friends once the show leaves Netflix at the end of this year. Reportedly, WarnerMedia paid $425 million to move the streaming rights.

According to Variety, the HBO Max special would most likely consist of cast members and creators sharing stories and memories from the set, rather than a continuation of the characters.

Listen… no matter what form it takes, this special is going to be LIT!
