Christian Bale’s kids apparently don’t know how talented their father is!

The actor recently told Us Weekly that both of his children — Emmeline, 14, and Joseph, 5 — have never seen any of his movies. (Not even Newsies?!)

“They’ve never seen any of [my movies],” he told the outlet plainly, before going on to discuss his recent project, Ford v. Ferrari, about a team of car engineers.

“It’s bloody exciting and some of the best racing I’ve ever seen, absolutely stunning and lovely to be a part of,” he said. “But it’s about these two individuals, [Ken] Miles and [Carroll] Shelby. They’re actually bonded like brothers, but they were very fiery as well.”

Christian welcomed Emmeline and Joseph in 2005 and 2014 with his wife, Sibi Blažić.

Even if he thinks his kids haven’t seen his films, who knows what they’re watching when he’s not around. Right?
